A Tribe Called Jamaica

Since Independence in 1962, Jamaica has been figuring who it is in the world. With many highs and lows and growing pains. In popular culture is usually reduced to a place to vacation, high crime rate, Marijuana, Bob Marley, Dancehall or Reggae music. But a more nuanced view is usually absent. There are many layers to this complex country. Jamaica can be many different things to Jamaicans, depending on who you speak to.
